READING, Pa.- The Keystone College women's volleyball team opened conference play with a 3-0 sweep over Penn State Berks Tuesday evening.

Keystone won the match by scores of 25-20, 25-13, and 25-12. The Giants move to 13-2 (1-0 United East) and Penn State Berks falls to 3-8 (0-1 United East).

Taylor Hallam (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin East) and Genevieve Pollock (Wallkill, N.Y./Wallkill) both had 8 kills this evening while Adrianna Derrick (Oklahoma City, Okla./Putnam City) registered five kills. Catie Woolf (Fremont, Ohio/Saint Joseph Central Catholic) tallied a match high 18 digs and Elise Burk (Paw Paw, Mich./Paw Paw) and Tobi West (Hoopeston, Ill./Hoopeston Area) combined for 24. Burk had 16 assists in the victory.

For Penn State Berks, Diana Stolzfus had seven kills and 11 digs. Madely Caris chipped in with seven kills and eight digs. Katelyn Williams also had 11 digs in the loss.

Keystone will be back home to host Cedar Crest College on Saturday, Oct. 5 during Homecoming and Family Weekend. Match time is scheduled for 6 p.m.
