LA PLUME, Pa.- The Keystone College field hockey team picked up their first conference win of the season as they defeated Lancaster Bible College 10-0 Friday evening at the Keystone College Turf Field.
Keystone moves to 5-6 (1-1 United East) while Lancaster Bible drops to 2-11 (0-2 United East).
Jordan Vandermark (Hackettstown, N.J./Hackettstown) led the Giants offense with four goals. Vicky Mainero (Francisco Alvarez, Buenos Aires, Argentina/St. Patrick's College) and Breanna Landers (Matawan, N.J./Matawan Regional) tallied two goals while Angelina Morley (Deposit, N.Y./Deposit) and Neeljte Van Broekhoven had one. Phaedra Day (Newark Valley, N.Y./Newark Valley) and Deanna Cole (Franklinville, N.J./Delsea Regional) combined for four assists. Morley, Lucia Cisilino (Tandil, Buenos Aires, Argentina/San Jose), and Belen Rodriguez (Caballito, Buenos Aires, Argentina/Colegio Santa BrÃgida) also contributed with an assist.
Keystone outshot the Chargers, 22-1 and had an 8-2 margin on penalty corners.
The Giants head to Allentown to face the Falcons of Cedar Crest College on Wednesday, Oct. 16 at 7 p.m.
