LA PLUME, Pa. – On Saturday afternoon, Keystone college women's volleyball snapped their winning streak with a 3-2 loss to Penn State Harrisburg. After losing the first two sets, the Giants battled back to force a fifth set, which they ultimately lost with a score of 15-10.
Taylor Hallam (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin East) led the team offensively with nine kills and four service aces, while Adrianna Derrick (Oklahoma City, Okla./Putnam City) followed closely behind also with nine kills. Hallam also led the team with two blocks and four block assists. Catie Woolf (Fremont, Ohio/Saint Joseph Central Catholic) saw 18 digs during this match and Elise Burk (Paw Paw, Mich./Paw Paw) was the team leader in assists with 17.
For Penn State, Hannah Degregory led the team offensively with 14 points, 11 kills, and 12 assists. Hannah Degregory also picked up two block assists, while Kate Bukowski led the team with 15 digs.
On Tuesday, October 15th, women's volleyball will be on the road for their next conference matchup facing the Wildcats of Penn College. This match is set to start at 7 p.m.
