Football Suffers Heartbreaking Loss at Lycoming

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa.- The Keystone College football team dropped a tough Landmark Conference bout to Lycoming College 31-28 Saturday afternoon.  

Keystone falls to 1-7 (0-4 Landmark). Lycoming picks up their first conference win and jumps to 3-4 (1-2 Landmark).  

Donald Leach III (Harrisburg, Pa./Susquehanna Township) threw for 282 yards with three touchdowns and a pick. Jayson Nami (Freehold Township, N.J./Freehold Township) posted a team high 140 receving yards with one score. He also had an 86-yard kickoff return for a touchdown on the opening kickoff. Jorden Cook (New Paltz, N.Y./New Paltz) contributed with a receiving score as well.  

Defensively, Quentin Tibbs (New Brunswick, N.J./New Brunswick) tallied a team high 11 tackles and forced a fumble. Nicholas DeFrancesco tallied seven tackles. Malcom Roy (Wilmington, Del./Delaware Military Academy) contributed with two interceptions and three pass break ups.  

For Lycoming, quarterback Jay Huber threw for 179 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions. Terrence Oliver rushed for 199 yards and two touchdowns. Dawson Debebe caught four passes for 93 yards with a score. Stephen Goodman led the Warriors defense with nine total tackles.  

The Giants were up 21-7 at halftime but were outscored 24-7 in the second half.  

Keystone will remain on the road as they head to Catholic University on Saturday, Nov. 2 at 12 p.m.
