LA PLUME, Pa.- The Keystone College men's soccer team was defeated in their regular season finale to Rosemont College 4-1 Saturday evening at the Keystone College Turf Field.
Keystone drops to 3-11-2 (2-4-2 United East). Rosemont improves to 7-7-3 (4-4 United East).
All of the goals from this evening's contest occurred in the second half. Leo Arrieta (Miami, Fla./Miami Killian) scored the only goal for the Giants in the 60th minute off an assist from Hernan Godoy (Bernardsville, N.J./Bernards). Goalkeeper Landon Keller (Provo, Utah/Timpview) made nine saves in the defeat.
The Ravens had four different goal scorers as Aidan Anderson tallied the first goal of the match in the 51st minute. Justin Thomas would add the second goal 48 second later. Sean Milelli notched a goal off of a free kick in the 66th minute. To cap off the scoring, Nicholas Lachawiec headed the ball in the back of the net off a corner kick.
Mason Quinton led the Ravens with two assists while Thomas and Christopher Escalante chipped in with one.
Rosemont outshot Keystone, 24-6, but Keystone held a 4-2 advantage on corner kicks. Five yellow cards were issued in the match.
The Giants will now gear up for the United East Conference Tournament which starts on Wednesday, Oct. 30. An opponent and time have yet to be announced.
