CHAMBERSBURG, Pa.- The Keystone College field hockey team suffered a 1-0 loss to Wilson College in their conference opener Saturday afternoon.

Keystone drops to 4-6 (0-1 United East) while Wilson improves to 8-1 (1-0 United East).

The Phoenix's lone goal came from Kate Seymour in the first quarter off an assist from Paige Ney. Wilson goalkeeper Erin Sullivan made seven saves.

Keystone outshot Wilson, 9-1. Vicky Mainero (Francisco Alvarez, Buenos Aires, Argentina/St. Patrick's College) and Jordan Vandermark (Hackettstown, N.J./Hackettstown) combined or seven shots. The Giants had six penalty corners in the game. Three green cards were issued.

The Giants head to The Garden State to battle Stevens Institute of Technology on Wednesday, Oct. 9 at 7 p.m.
