ABINGTON, Pa.- The Keystone College women's soccer team loss their second consecutive conference game to Penn State Abington 9-1 Saturday afternoon.
The Giants fall to 2-7 while the Nittany Lions improve to 6-4-1 (1-0-1 United East).
Brooke Freni (Glendora, N.J./Triton Regional) scored the lone goal for Keystone in the 87th minute. Annie Metger recorded a dozen saves in goal.
Penn State Abington was led by Ravelo Nayeska who had a hat trick. Madison McDowell chipped in with two while Meghan McGinly, Meghan McMeel, Jenna Belte, and Giavonna Rebilas had one.
The Nittany Lion held a 32-5 margin on shots and had one corner kick in the match.
Keystone heads to Wilson College next Tuesday, Oct. 15. Match time is scheduled for 2 p.m.
