WASHINGTON, D.C.- The Keystone College football team will remain on the road for their week nine contest as they travel to the nation's capital to face Catholic University on Saturday, Nov. 2 at 12 p.m.
Keystone
Keystone (1-7, 0-4 Landmark) is coming off a slight 31-28 loss to Lycoming a week ago. The team held a 21-7 lead at half, but were outscored 24-7 in the second half.
Donald Leach III (Harrisburg, Pa./Susquehanna Township) completed 21 passes for 282 yards with three touchdowns and one interception. Leach also had 55 rushing yards. Jayson Nami (Freehold Township, N.J./Freehold Township) had five receptions for 140 yards and a score. He also had an 86-yard kickoff return touchdown to open the game. Jorden Cook (New Paltz, N.Y./New Paltz) and Da'Juan Vales both recorded a receiving touchdown.
Defensively, Quentin Tibbs (New Brunswick, N.J./New Brunswick) was all over the field as he tallied 16 total tackles and forced a fumble. Malcom Roy (Wilmington, Del./Delaware Military Academy) had two interceptions to go along with three pass break-ups.
Jeremiah Ortiz (Scranton, Pa./Scranton) punted five times for 191 yards and averaged 38.2 yards a punt. His longest went for 47 yards.
Catholic
The Catholic University Cardinals (3-4, 1-2 Landmark) are coming off their bye week. The team defeated Lycoming 14-12 on Oct. 19 for their first conference win of the season.
Joey Gublin threw for 163 yards with one touchdown and three interceptions. He also had a one-yard rushing touchdown in the game. Running back Daequan Harvin rushed for 155 yards on 33 attempts. Ryan Smyth contributed with a five-yard touchdown reception.
Mason Stillwell led the Cardinals defense with 10 total tackles with 1.5 tackles for loss. Shane Toal chipped in with nine total tackles while Michael Hopkins and Sean Holt each had seven.

The Giants close out the 2024 season next Saturday, Nov. 9 at home against Juniata College at 12 p.m.
