CHAMBERSBURG, Pa.- The Keystone College women's volleyball team close out the 2024 regular season with a 3-0 sweep against Wilson College Saturday afternoon by scores of 25-14, 27-25, and 25-13.
The Giants move to 19-6 (7-3 United East), and Wilson will drop to 4-21 (3-7 United East).
Sofia Green (Portland, Ore./Mountainside), Kaliyah Brown (Maricopa, Ariz./Sequoia Pathway Academy), and Taylor Hallam (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin East) all had eight kills. Hallam and Green combined for seven total blocks. Elise Burk (Paw Paw, Mich./Paw Paw) recorded 17 assists, nine digs, and seven kills. Catie Woolf (Fremont, Ohio/Saint Joseph Central Catholic) added 17 digs with five service aces.
For the Phoenix, Abby Moreland posted 11 digs and seven service aces. Deah Menedis had a match high seven kills along with six digs. Addie Hebert and Allyson Garcelon combined for 18 digs.
Keystone will now prepare for the United East Conference Women's Volleyball Tournament which will begin on Wednesday, Nov. 6. The Giants locked up the eighth seed and will host St. Elizabeth University at 7 p.m.
