LA PLUME, Pa.- The Keystone College women's basketball team dropped their first conference game of the season to Penn State Harrisburg 57-45 Tuesday afternoon.
The Giants fall to 3-4 (0-1 United East) with Penn State Harrisburg improving to 4-1 (1-0 United East).
Anyah Ortiz (Reading, Pa./Governor Mifflin) was once again Keystone's leading scorer with 14 points and six rebounds. Malaysia Bryant (Harlem, N.Y./Thurgood Marshall) added seven points off the bench while Tamari Hubbard (Bronx, N.Y./Mott Haven) and Mackenzie Wharton (Annapolis, Md./Broadneck) both scored five points.
For Penn State Harrisburg, Jordan Carpenter had a double-double with 17 points and 12 rebounds. Mikayla Coleman chipped in with 14 points along with three steals and three assists. Ali Lister scored 12 points with four assists.
Keystone posted a 27 percent shooting percentage from the field and shot 77 percent from the charity stripe.
The Giants will resume play after Thanksgiving break as they remain home to host St. Elizabeth University on Wednesday, Dec. 4 at 5 p.m.
