LA PLUME, Pa.- The Keystone College men's basketball team closed out 2024 with a tough 81-69 loss to Alvernia University Saturday afternoon at the Gambal Athletic Center.
Boston Caldwell (Auckland, New Zealand/Westlake) poured in a game high 17 points and three rebounds. Daryl Coleman (Allentown, Pa./Southern Lehigh) flirted with a double-double as he added 13 points and eight rebounds. Brandon Scott (Cheltenham, Pa./Cheltenham) had 11 points, six rebounds, four assists, and three steals. D'Andre Sutherland (Miramar, Fla./West Broward) and Kamdyn Ayers (Fort Lauderdale, Fla./Western) both scored nine.
For the Golden Wolves, Robert Cottrell scored 19 points, nine assists, and four rebounds. Janye Stanley recorded a double-double with 17 points and 13 rebounds. Kareem Diaz and Elijah Hamilton combined for 26 points and eight rebounds. Jakob Kelly contributed with 10 points and nine rebounds.
The Giants (5-5) will be back on the court in 2025 when they host Moravian University on Thursday, Jan. 2 at 7 p.m.
