ROSEMONT, Pa.- The Keystone College men's basketball earned their second conference win of the 2024-25 campaign as they defeated Rosemont College 77-74 Saturday afternoon.
For the second straight game, Boston Caldwell (Auckland, New Zealand/Westlake) was the leading scorer with 20 points and seven rebounds. D'Andre Sutherland (Miramar, Fla./West Broward) had 16 points and four rebounds. Daryl Coleman (Allentown, Pa./Southern Lehigh) flirted with a double-double as he scored 15 points with nine rebounds. Brandon Scott (Cheltenham, Pa./Cheltenham) and Tyler Fox (Fort Lauderdale, Fla./Cardinal Gibbons) both had nine points. Scott grabbed seven rebounds while Fox dished out seven assists.
For Rosemont, Denelle Holly tallied a game high of 18 points with five boards. Bruce Black had 13 points while Brandon Moore recorded a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds off the bench.
Keystone held a 36-31 lead over Rosemont at halftime. Despite the Ravens narrowly outscoring the Giants 43-41 in the second half, they were able to hang on for the win. The team posted an approximate 51 percent field goal percentage while shooting 71 percent from the charity stripe.
The Giants (4-5, 2-1 United East) will return home to welcome Alvernia University to the Gambal Athletic Center on Saturday, Dec. 14 at 1 p.m.
