The Keystone College men's lacrosse team was defeated on the road by Farmingdale State 25-7 Thursday afternoon.
With the loss, Keystone drops to 3-6 on the season. Farmingdale State improves to 7-2.
Ryan Smith (Warrington, Pa./Central Bucks South) led the Giants with a hat trick performance. Cam Wallace (Okotoks, Alberta, Canada/Foothills Composite) added a pair of goals while Wilson Ingalls (Okotoks, Alberta, Canada/Holy Trinity Academy) and Chase Richardson (Wetaskiwin, Alberta, Canada/Wetaskiwin Comp) each scored once.
Chris Armas (Vancouver, Wash./Mountain View) and Cody Dembski (Agoura Hills, Calif./Agoura) won a combined 15 faceoffs.
Farmingdale State's Adam Giovincio led all players with eight goals and nine points in total. A trio of four goal scoring players for the Rams included Tyler Longo, Thomas Stock, and Tyler Kollar. Antonio Kaminskey led all players in ground balls recorded (11) and faceoffs won (16).
The Rams had a commanding lead in shots, 62-26. Keystone finished 17-of-30 (57 percent) on clear attempts.
Keystone will host Marywood University in their next contest on Wednesday, March 27th at 7 p.m.
