ST. MARY'S CITY, Md.- The Keystone College men's lacrosse dropped their first conference game of the season to St. Mary's College of Maryland 29-4 Saturday afternoon.
Keystone falls to 6-8 (3-1 United East) while St. Mary's improves to 11-4 (5-0 United East).
Ryan Smith (Warrington, Pa./Central Bucks South) paced the Giants offensive attack with a hat trick. Cam Wallace (Okotoks, Alberta, Canada/Foothills Composite) added a goal as well. Chris Armas (Vancouver, Wash./Mountain View) won 18 faceoff attempts.
For the Seahawks, Brett Weiner scored four goals with two assists. Billy Higgins and Declan Horton combined for six goals and five assists. Austin Borns and Mark LoPresto both tallied two goals.
St. Mary's outshot Keystone, 57-21. Keystone had a 73 percent success rate on clear attempts.
The Giants wrap up the regular season next Saturday, Apr. 27 as they host Penn College at 1 p.m.
