LA PLUME, Pa.- The Keystone College field hockey team picked up their first win of the 2024 season as they defeated Ramapo College 2-0 Wednesday afternoon in their home opener.
Keystone moves to 1-3 while Ramapo drops to 1-3.
Breanna Landers (Matawan, N.J./Matawan Regional) tallied her first career goal in the second quarter off of a deflection. Jordan Vandermark (Hackettstown, N.J./Hackettstown) scored the other goal late in the fourth quarter off a penalty corner with Phaedra Day (Newark Valley, N.Y./Newark Valley) and Angelina Morley (Deposit, N.Y./Deposit) getting the assist.
Defensively, Hannah Osbahr (Old Bridge, N.J./Old Bridge) made four saves in the cage and Lillian Kennedy-Butler (Bel Air, Md./John Carroll School) added a defensive save.
The Giants outshot the Roadrunners, 16-6 and had a 15-1 margin on penalty corners.
Keystone's next contest will be on Saturday, Sept. 14 when they take on Immaculata University at 2 p.m.
