LA PLUME, Pa.- The Keystone College men's soccer team dropped a nailbiter at home to Centenary University 2-1 Sunday afternoon.
With the loss, Keystone drops to 1-5 while Centenary moves to 3-3.
The Cyclones got on the board first in the 9th minute with a PK goal by Andres Casanova. They would score 10 minutes later as Rich O'Brien found Sean Quinones to put Centenary up 2-0.
Keystone would finally get on the score column in the 72nd minute as Ethan Eccleston (Chandler, Ariz./Hamilton) scored his first collegiate goal as Taylor Hammons (Oklahoma City, Okla./Bishop McGuiness) and Leo Arrieta (Miami, Fla./Miami Killian) being credited with the assists. Freshman goalkeeper Landon Keller (Provo, Utah/Timpview) recorded two saves in goal.
Centenary narrowly outshot Keystone, 14-10. Both teams had five corner kicks in this afternoon's contest.
The Giants will head to New Jersey as they will take on William Paterson University on Wednesday, Sept. 18 at 4:45 p.m.
