LA PLUME, Pa. – Keystone women's volleyball defeated Elmira College on Tuesday evening winning three straight sets with scores of 25-20, 25-11, and 25-22. This win moves Keystone to an overall record of 8-2 on the season

Sofia Green (Portland, Ore./Mountainside) and Adrianna Derrick (Oklahoma City, Okla./Putnam City) led the charge for the Giants offensively, combining for 18 points and 15 kills. Genevieve Pollock (Wallkill, N.Y./Wallkill) also picked up six points and six kills in Tuesday evening's event. Elise Burk (Paw Paw, Mich./Paw Paw) was credited with 13 assists out of 27 total for the Giants as well.
Defensively, freshmen Bella Brienza (Fredericksburg, Va./Stafford) and Catie Woolf (Fremont, Ohio/Saint Joseph Central Catholic) showed their talents as they led the team in digs with 13 and 11 respectively. Taylor Hallam (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin East) had four block assists and one solo block while Sofia Green (Portland, Ore./Mountainside), Adrianna Derrick (Oklahoma City, Okla./Putnam City), and Taylor Howard (Lewisberry, Pa./Red Land) each added two block assists.

For Elmira, Morgan Richardson led the team offensively with 12 points and 10 kills. Asia Curkendall led the team in digs with 10, and Madi Conti ended the match with two solo blocks.

Women's volleyball will be back home at the Gambal Athletic Center on Saturday morning for a tri-match featuring Purchase College and FDU-Florham. Keystone will be playing Purchase College at 11:00 A.M. and will take on FDU-Florham around 3:00 P.M.
