LA PLUME, Pa.- The Keystone College women's volleyball team picked up a dominant 3-0 win over Penn State Scranton Tuesday evening in the Gambal Athletic Center.
Keystone moves to 11-2 and Penn State Scranton falls to 0-6. The Giants took the match by scores of 25-4, 25-7, and 25-4.
Messana Haslock (Park City, Utah/Park City) was the star of the show for the Giants as she recorded a school record 13 service aces to go along with nine assists. Hailey Herneisey (Middletown, Pa./Middletown Area) chipped in with seven service aces. Hannah Ely (New Albany, Pa./Wyalusing Valley) and Genevieve Pollock (Wallkill, N.Y./Wallkill) both had seven kills in the contest. Haslock and Genevieve Mennemeyer (Lee's Summit, MO/Lee's Summit West) combined for 19 assists.
The Giants will be back home to host Penn State Schuylkill on Tuesday, Sept. 26 at 7 p.m.
