LA PLUME, Pa.- The Keystone College field hockey team saw its four-game winning streak end as they suffered a 3-2 loss to Virginia Wesleyan Saturday evening at the Keystone College Turf Field.

Keystone falls to 4-4 with Virgina Wesleyan improving to 8-1.

Lucia Cislino scored for the Giants off a penalty corner with Phaedra earning the assist. Vicky Mainero (Francisco Alvarez, Buenos Aires, Argentina/St. Patrick's College) tallied the second goal for Keystone in the fourth quarter.

The Marlins were led by Landry Meyer who had two goals in the contest. Her first goal came just 28 seconds into the game. Her second goal came off a penalty corner from Lauren Hedspeth. Dani Poulsen added a goal in the first quarter with Meyer getting the assist.

The Giants outshot the Markins, 7-6. In addition, they had the edge on penalty corners, 8-7.

Keystone will hit the road to face Utica University on Wednesday, Oct. 2 at 5 p.m.
