SCRANTON, Pa.- The Keystone College field hockey team suffered a 2-0 loss to Marywood University Wednesday afternoon in their 2024 season opener.
With the loss. Keystone drops to 0-1 while Marywood picks up their first win and moves to 1-2.
Keystone goalkeeper Hannah Osbahr (Old Bridge, N.J./Old Bridge) made nine saves in the cage. Angelina Morley (Deposit, N.Y./Deposit) and Lucia Cisilino (Tandil, Buenos Aires, Argentina/San Jose) both made one defensive save.
Marywood had two different goal scorers as Jordan Saybe scored off a penalty corner and Corrin Hasty tallied another off a penalty stroke. Those two goals came in the first quarter.
The Pacers outshot the Giants 15-4 and had a 8-3 margin on penalty corners. Two green cards were given in the contest.
Keystone is back in action on Friday, Sept. 9 as they face Misericordia University at 7 p.m.
