LA PLUME, Pa.- The Keystone College men's basketball team took down Cairn University 76-63 Tuesday evening in the Gambal Athletic Center.
Keystone improves to 6-7 overall and 4-2 in United East Conference play.
Daryl Coleman (Allentown, Pa./Southern Lehigh) flirted with a double-double as he had 22 points and seven rebounds. Tyler Fox (Fort Lauderdale, Fla./Cardinal Gibbons) tallied 15 points with six rebounds. Kamdyn Ayers (Fort Lauderdale, Fla./Western) contributed with 13 points, five assists, and four steals. Brandon Scott (Cheltenham, Pa./Cheltenham) recorded a double-double with 10 points and 10 boards.
Cairn was led by Isiah Coleman who had a double-double with 23 points and 13 points. Josiah Hardy added 13 points and seven rebounds. Christian Rivera was a basket shy of a double-double as he had eight points with 11 assists.
Keystone used a strong first half performance to pull away with the victory. The squad let Cairn 40-29 at half and outscored them 36-34 in the second. The Giants shot 39 percent from the field and outrebounded the Highlanders 48-38.
Keystone's next contest will be on the road as they face Penn State Brandywine on Saturday, Jan. 18 at 3:30 p.m.
