MEDIA, Pa.- The Keystone College men's basketball picked up their fifth conference win of the season as they knocked off Penn State Brandywine 85-71 Saturday afternoon.
With the win, the Giants improve to 7-7 (5-2 United East).
Boston Caldwell (Auckland, New Zealand/Westlake) had a career day as he scored a season-high 30 points with three rebounds. In addition, he scored his 1,000th career point in the conference victory. Daryl Coleman (Allentown, Pa./Southern Lehigh) and Kamdyn Ayers (Fort Lauderdale, Fla./Western) both flirted with a double-double as the two combined for 22 points and 16 rebounds. Tyler Fox (Fort Lauderdale, Fla./Cardinal Gibbons) recorded 11 points and five rebounds off the bench.
For Penn State Brandywine, Amari Little led the way with 17 points and four rebounds. Jaden Fogg collected a double-double as he concluded the contest with 14 points and 10 rebounds.
Keystone held a narrow 38-34 lead after the first half and outscored the Nittany Lions 47-37 in the second half to secure the victory. The Giants held a narrow 40-39 margin on rebounds and shot 40 percent in today's clash.
The Giants return to the court on Monday, Jan. 20 as they host the University of Valley Forge at 5 p.m.
