MIDDLETOWN, Pa.- The Keystone College men's basketball team suffered an 85-79 defeat to Penn State Harrisburg Tuesday evening in United East Conference play.
Daryl Coleman (Allentown, Pa./Southern Lehigh) scored 19 points to lead the Giants. He also had four rebounds. Boston Caldwell (Auckland, New Zealand/Westlake) chipped in with 16 points and four rebounds. Pete Laidley (Miramar, Fla./Pembroke Pines Charter) recorded 15 points with seven rebounds and two steals. Kandyn Ayers dropped 12 points, seven assists, and five rebounds. Brandon Scott (Cheltenham, Pa./Cheltenham) and Tyler Fox (Fort Lauderdale, Fla./Cardinal Gibbons) combined for 17 points.
For Harrisburg, Chris Henderson notched a double-double with 21 points, 12 rebounds, and four assists. Lance Douglas notched 20 points and six rebounds. Isaiah Eggleston scored 13 points while Mason Pulliam had 11. Jordan Spencer grabbed a dozen rebounds in the win.
The Giants led the Nittany Lions 40-38 at the break but were outscored 47-39 in the second half. The team shot 44 percent from the field and 33 percent from three-point range.
Keystone (8-8, 6-3 United East) returns to La Plume on Saturday Jan. 25 to play Rosemont College in their Second Annual Coaches vs. Cancer Game at 3 p.m.
