ROSEMONT, Pa.- The Keystone College women's basketball team opened 2025 in style with a dominant 76-35 victory at Rosemont Saturday afternoon.
Keystone moves to 8-5 with a 2-2 mark in United East Conference play.
Tamari Hubbard (Bronx, N.Y./Mott Haven) and Anyah Ortiz (Reading, Pa./Governor Mifflin) both scored 11 points. Hubbard grabbed four rebounds and dished out two assists in the win. Iysis Nickens (Bethlehem, Pa./Liberty) and Izzy Rosario (Bethlehem, Pa./Bethlehem Catholic) combined for 18 points, five rebounds, and four steals. Malaysia Bryant (Harlem, N.Y./Thurgood Marshall) and Madison had seven points.
Aniya McDaniel led the Ravens with a near double-double as she had 14 points and eight rebounds. Yanae Edwards tallied nine points and five rebounds off the bench.
The Giants got off to a slow start as they held a 12-9 lead following the first quarter. The squad would eventually figure it out as they outscored Rosemont 64-26 the rest of the way. Keystone shot an even 46 percent (29-of-63) from the field.
Keystone returns to the Gambal Athletic Center to face Penn College on Wednesday, Jan. 8 at 5 p.m.
