Men’s Soccer Folds to Penn College

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa.- The Keystone College men's soccer team were defeated in the second conference match to Penn College 4-1 Wednesday evening.

Penn College got the scoring started just two minutes into the match off an own goal. Silas Reed added an unassisted in the 19th minute to put the Wildcats up two.

In the second half, the Giants were able to cut into their deficit was Leo Arrieta (Miami, Fla./Miami Killian) found the back of the net off a feed from Brayan Rodriguez (Keyport, N.J./Keyport).

Penn College was able to put the match as Jimmy Friedman and Pedro Nava provided late tallies in the 76th and 86th minute, respectively. Sean McGroarty and Elliott Rattiram had one assist.

Kolten McVean (Dickinson, Tex./Dickinson) had eight saves in the loss.

The Wildcats outshot Keystone 26-12 with 12 of their shots being on target. They had a 6-1 advantage on corner kicks. Three yellow cards were issued.

Keystone (2-8-0, 0-2-0 United East) is idle until Tuesday, Oct. 7 when it hosts Penn State Brandywine at 5 p.m.
