LA PLUME, Pa.- The Keystone College women's basketball team picked up their eighth conference win as they defeated Rosemont College 72-38 Saturday afternoon in the Gambal Athletic Center.
Keystone moves to 14-7 (8-4 United East) with the win and have clinched a spot in the United East Confernce Tournament.
Malaysia Bryant (Harlem, N.Y./Thurgood Marshall) scored a game-high 20 points with six rebounds. Anyah Ortiz (Reading, Pa./Governor Mifflin) recorded her second straight double-double with 16 points, 11 rebounds, and three assists. Iysis Nickens (Bethlehem, Pa./Liberty) was two rebounds shy of a double-double as she had 15 points and eight rebounds. Izzy Rosario (Bethlehem, Pa./Bethlehem Catholic) provided eight points, five rebounds, and four steals off the bench.
Lakay Holloway led the Ravens with 10 points and seven rebounds. Mojisola Shokeye and Aniya McDaniel combined for 17 points and five rebounds.
The Giants shot 32.1 percent (26-of-81) from the floor and outrebounded Rosemont, 57-35.
Keystone heads to Penn College on Wednesday, Feb. 5 at 5 p.m.
