Men’s Basketball Takes Down Penn State Brandywine on Senior Day

Senior forward Pete Laidley led the team with 22 points. He and five other seniros were honored before this afternoon's contest.

LA PLUME, Pa- The Keystone College men's basketball team concluded the regular season with a dominating 86-64 win on Senior Day Saturday afternoon.

The Giants finish the regular season 13-10 (11-5 United East).

Keystone honored its seniors D'Andre Sutherland (Miramar, Fla./West Broward), Justin Hill (Deltona, Fla./Mainland), Brandon Scott (Cheltenham, Pa./Cheltenham), Pete Laidley (Miramar, Fla./Pembroke Pines Charter), Mujahid Moore (Charlotte, N.C./Southlake Christian Academy), and Redio Risell (Cooper City, Fla./Cooper City) prior to today's game.

Laidley posted a double-double as he scored a game high 22 points with 10 rebounds. Scott added 18 points while Daryl Coleman (Allentown, Pa./Southern Lehigh) added nine points and three steals.

Jaden Fogg was the leading scorer for the Nittany Lions as he had 14 points, four rebounds, and three steals.

The Giants shot an even 40 percent from the floor and 28 percent from three. They scored 32 points off turnovers.

Keystone secured the fourth seed and have earned a first-round bye in the United East Conference Tournament. The Giants will host the United East Quarterfinal on Saturday, Feb. 22 as they will face the winner of No. 5 St. Mary's College of Maryland and No. 12 Penn College.
