LA PLUME, Pa.- The Keystone College men's basketball team picked up a huge home conference win Saturday afternoon as they defeated Notre Dame of Maryland University 72-64 in the Gambal Athletic Center.
The win moves Keystone to 12-9 (10-4 United East).
Daryl Coleman (Allentown, Pa./Southern Lehigh) scored a game high 21 points with five rebounds, three assists, and two blocks. Tyler Fox (Fort Lauderdale, Fla./Cardinal Gibbons) contributed with 18 points and three steals off the bench, He shot 60 percent from three. Pete Laidley (Miramar, Fla./Pembroke Pines Charter) flirted with a double-double as he had nine points and seven rebounds.
Notre Dame had three players in double figures as Chandler Johnson was the team's leading scorer with 21 points. Ahmad Harrison had 13 points, seven rebounds, and five steals. Dylan Long scored 12 points to go along with five rebounds and four steals.
The Giants shot 42.1 percent (24-of-57) from the field and 44.4 percent (8-of-18) from downtown. They narrowly won the rebounds battle, 45-41.
Keystone travels to Langhorne on Tuesday to face Cairn University at 7 p.m.
