AUBURNDALE, Fla.- The Keystone College baseball team had a doubleheader split with Moravian University as they lost the first game 15-4 but bounced back to take game two, 13-8 Friday evening.
Game One: Keystone 4, Moravian 15
Hunter Rauch (Lincoln, Del./Cape Henlopen) went 2-for-4 with an RBI single. Jacob Yager (Grahamsville, N.Y./Tri-Valley) added an RBI single as well.
Brandon Girod (Elgin, Tex./Elgin) was the game one starter and gave up eight runs (four earned) with one strikeout in 1.2 innings pitched. Leam Powell (Phillipsport, N.Y./Chapel Field Christian) went 2.1 innings in relief with two strikeouts. Quinn Holt (North Wales, Pa./North Penn) and Michael Lynch (Orangeburg, N.Y./Tappan Zee) each pitched an inning and recorded three punchouts.
The Greyhounds got on the Giants early as they scored eight runs in the first two innings. They kept pouring on as they added four runs in the fourth followed by three in the sixth to solidify the opening game victory.
Keystone deposited two runs in the first and second innings but were unable to bring more runners in.
Game Two: Moravian 8, Keystone 13
Carlos Pascual (Paterson, N.J./International), Robert Estrada (Maracay, Venezuela/James J. Ferris), and Ian Scalabrini (Oakland, N.J./Don Bosco Prep) both had two hits on the afternoon. Pascual had five runs batted in which led the team. Scalabrini produced two RBI with an RBI single followed by a solo home run.
Nick Gravel (Sidney, N.Y./Sidney) got the starting nod and win as he went four innings with three strikeouts. Emilio Portes (Rio Grande City, Tex./Monsignor Pace) pitched an inning in relief while Noah Parks (Maple Valley, Wash./Tahoma) tossed the last two frames and struck out four batters.
Both squads got off to a quick start as Moravian scored four runs in the top of the first while Keystone dropped three in the bottom half of the first. The Giants outscored Moravian 10-3 in innings three through six which helped them get the game two win.

Keystone (4-2) resumes spring break action tomorrow as they battle Curry College at 3:45 P.M.
