SOUTH ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, Pa.- The Keystone College softball team dropped a United East Conference doubleheader to Penn College Wednesday afternoon by scores of 14-2 and 20-0.
Game One: Penn College 14, Keystone 2 (5 inn.)
The Wildcats through the first two innings of play. Keystone was able to bring home a run and Angelina Morley (Deposit, N.Y./Deposit) hit a single to score Sam Ratti (Brodheadsville, Pa./Pleasant Valley).
Penn College would score three runs in the third with a two RBI double and a throwing error. The Giants would add one more run in the third off an error too. The Wildcats would go on a 6-0 run to close out the first game of the doubleheader.
Rattin posted two hits to lead the Giants offense. Courtney Cienki (West Milford, N.J./West Milford) suffered the loss in the circle as she went four innings with one punchout.
Game Two: Penn College 20, Keystone 0 (5 inn.)
Penn College scored nine runs in the second inning to propel them to another mercy rule win. Keystone's bat went cold in game two as they only tallied hits. Morley and Isabella Mandarano (Dunmore, Pa./Dunmore) recorded the lone hits.
Julia Gorel (Carbondale, Pa./Carbondale Area) started game two and went 1.2 innings with two strikeouts. Cienki and Isabella Benitez (East Windsor, N.J./Hightstown) appeared in relief and struck out two batters also.

Keystone (4-16, 2-7 United East) faces Rosemont College on the road tomorrow afternoon at 3 p.m.
