LA PLUME, Pa.- Allison Anusauskas was hired as the cross country and track and field men's and women's head coach, Keystone Director of Athletics Kacy Manning announced.
"We're excited to welcome Coach Anusauskas as our new Head Coach for Cross Country and Track & Field," Manning stated. "Her energy, drive, and focus on recruiting and developing student-athletes make her the right person to grow and strengthen our program."
Anusauskas previously served as the cross country and track and field graduate assistant coach at Division II Wingate University in Wingate, N.C. for one year. She assisted with every aspect of both programs such as recruiting calls, in-person visits, and training ideas.
Both Wingate's cross country and track & field programs had tons of success as the men's and women's cross-country team won the South Atlantic Conference Championship as well as the Southeast Regional title this past season. The men's cross-country squad had an individual champion in the Southeast Regional as well.
The men's team finished as national runner-ups at the 2024 NCAA Division II Cross Country National Championship while seven runners received All-American honors.
On the track side, eight male and one female athlete earned All-American nods during the 2024-2025 indoor track season while one male runner captured the individual indoor track national title in the 1,600.
"Ally has been a tremendous asset to our program. Her enthusiasm, dedication, and eagerness to grow in her new coaching role are evident every day as we discuss the future of Keystone College Cross County / Track & Field. She shows great promise as a future leader in NCAA collegiate athletics, and I am excited to see her at the helm of the program that is near and dear to many hearts," said Jackie Kirby '09- Keystone cross country and track & field alum, Keystone Athletics Hall of Famer, and current Head Cross Country/Track & Field Head Coach at Wingate.
Prior to Wingate, she was the graduate assistant/assistant coach at Division I Virginia Commonwealth University. Anusauskas was responsible for regular communication with event groups including weekly training plans, program updates, meet/travel information, coordinating travel plans, created and prepped the entire preseason cross-country camp, facilitated daily practices and workouts, records history of training, and organized and distributed weekly logs.
With the Rams, Anusauskas coached the Atlantic 10 individual women's cross-country champion and the Women's Track and Field Team captured the Atlantic 10 Indoor and Outdoor title in 2024.
Anusauskas also works for Lancering Timing Service where she worked with various crew members to organize track meets along with communicating effectively with various athletics staffs at numerous venues.
Anusauskas ran collegiately at UMass Lowell where she graduated from the university in May 2023 with a bachelor's degree in exercise science. She later obtained her master's degree in sports management from Wingate in May 2025.
