Giants Erupt Offensively in 109–69 Rout of Gallaudet

LA PLUME, Pa.- The Keystone College men's basketball team earned its second United East Conference victory Saturday afternoon with a 109–69 win over Gallaudet University at the Gambal Athletic Center.

The Giants' 109 points are tied for the fourth-most points scored in a single game.

PJ Murphy (Scranton, Pa./Scranton) led all scorers with a game-high 28 points, finishing 10-of-16 from the floor and 5-of-8 from beyond the arc. Jden Golding (Jacksonville, Fla./Clay) delivered a well-rounded performance with 16 points, nine assists, and eight rebounds.

Ahmodrion Jones (Wilmington, Del./Delcastle Tech) added 13 points and five rebounds, while Tyler Ditton (Fulton, N.Y./G. Ray Bodley) and Niame Scott (Philadelphia, Pa./Mount Pleasant) each chipped in 11 points off the bench. The Giants finished with 36 bench points and recorded 21 assists on 41 made field goals.

Gallaudet (1-12, 0-6 United East) was led by Jayden Orsi-Pedersen with 12 points and nine rebounds, while Wyatt Carlson added 11 points. The Bison shot 38.9 percent from the field and struggled at the free-throw line, converting just 8-of-19 attempts.

The Giants (4-13, 2-4 United East) set the tone early and never let up, shooting 54.7 percent from the field while forcing 17 turnovers and turning them into 29 points. Keystone led by as many as 40 points and controlled the game on both ends from the opening minutes.

Keystone jumped out to a quick advantage behind efficient ball movement and strong perimeter shooting, building a 52–37 lead at halftime. The Giants knocked down timely three-pointers and attacked the paint consistently, outscoring Gallaudet 50–42 inside while committing just nine turnovers on the afternoon.

Keystone travels to Penn State Brandywine on Wednesday.
