La PLUME, Pa. - The Keystone College women's flag football program hosted Elmira College on Thursday night in the program's home opener in non-conference action.
The Giants (0-2) fell to the visiting Soaring Eagles (1-0) 29-0 in the first home flag football game on campus.
Nataly Bermudez (Las Vegas, NV/Valley) completed 13 passes on the night, with Hailee Hackett (Carmicahel, Calif./Rio Americano) hauling in five receptions. Jayda Price (York, Pa./William Penn) finished with four catches.
Tayana Bibbins (Lincoln, Del./Sussex Technical) and Phaneirra Barnett (Baltimore, Md./Edgewood) both tallied two receptions.
Defensively, Bibbins and Naema Alatorre (Brownsville, Tex./Idea Frontier) paced the Giants with four tackles each. Hackett enjoyed one interception and two tackles while Bibbins notched a pick.
Desiree Stamps (Alpharetta, Ga./Centennial) and Price contributed three stops apiece.
Keystone head to Langhorne, Pennsylvania on Saturday, March 21 for a United East Conference doubleheader with Cairn University and Gallaudet University, starting at 11 am.
