LA PLUME, PA- Keystone College has announced the return of its men's golf program, with plans to begin competition in the fall 2026 season. The addition of men's golf marks a significant step forward for the Giants' athletic department, continuing to grow the department while expanding opportunities for student-athletes to compete at the Division III level.

The reintroduction of men's golf reflects Keystone's ongoing commitment to broadening their athletic offering and enhancing the student-athlete experience. The return of the program positions Keystone to better serve students while strengthening its overall roster sizes and profiles.

"Golf has a strong history at Keystone, especially under Don Cole," said Athletic Director Kacy Manning, "Its return is a natural and important step in strengthening our athletics programs."

The Giants plan to compete in the United East Conference, aligning the program with nearly all of the College's varsity offerings. The addition of men's golf enhances the ability to recruit nationally, where the sport continues to grow at the high school and lower levels.

Leading the program will be Justin Stern, who will oversee recruiting and development of the roster ahead of the inaugural season later this year. "We are very excited to bring back the golf program.", said head coach Justin Stern, "I'm truly grateful to restart this program and build back a competitive team. I look forward to developing a program based on development and help the growing culture that we have in place in the Keystone community."

Men's golf previously competed at Keystone, starting in 1968, before returning for the first time in the 2008-09 season. The addition of men's golf marks the Giants first team since the 2018-19 season, where the Giants finished the CSAC Championship in third place. The College looks forward to reestablishing its presence on the course while building a program centered on competitiveness, sportsmanship, and academic success.

With the 2026 season quickly approaching, recruiting efforts are already underway as Keystone begins assembling its roster for the program's return. Prospective student-athletes interested in joining the men's golf program are encouraged to contact Justin Stern at justin.stern@keystone.edu.
