Since beginning his collegiate head coaching career at Keystone in 2002, Jamie Shevchik has brought more than two decades of excellence and success to the Giants baseball program.
In 2018, Shevchik was inducted into the Keystone College Athletics Hall of Fame.
During his tenure, Shevchik has built the Giants into a regional power that is consistently ranked among the top 20 in the nation and has made two appearances in the NCAA Division III Collegiate World Series with a runner-up finish in 2016.
The Giants have had seven players selected in the MLB Draft: Rob Rogers (2013 - Dodgers), Brian Henry (2011 - Diamondbacks), Blaine O'Brien (2011 - Indians), Yazy Arbello (2010 - Diamondbacks), Sean Murphy (2010 - Athletics), Victor Lara (2010 - Diamondbacks) and Eric Groff (2010 - Diamondbacks). Additionally, 15 former Keystone players have signed independent contracts with MLB organizations.
2025: United East Conference Champions with a NCAA Denison Regional runner-up finish... United East Coach of the Year.... Sean Brennan tabbed United East Pitcher of the Year.... Three players earned all-region honors from D3baseball.com while six received all-region accolades from ABCA/Rawlings ... Andy Rivas named D3baseball.com Region IV Player of the Year..... 2024: United East Conference Champions as they swept No. 11 Penn State Harrisburg in the championship series... Brayan Villar was named United East Skye Division Pitcher of the Year. Sean Brennan, Darren Hagan, and Jacob Yager received All-Region 4 honors from D3baseball.com and ABCA/Rawlings
2023: Earned 700th career victory with 8-7 win over St. Elizabeth in CSAC playoffs... Guided Giants to 18th-consecutive conference title...

2016: Giants fell just short of a national title with a NCAA Division III World Series Runner-Up finish after capturing CSAC Championship and NCAA New England Regionals. Accolades poured in for Shevchik: ABCA/Diamond Mid-Atlantic Coach of the year, D3basseball.com Mid-Atlantic Region Coach of the Year and CSAC Coach of the Year.

2004: Shevchik reached the 100-win milestone ... Giants made an appearance at the USCAA National Championships ... Scott Grimes and Matt Treible named to USCAA All-American Team. 2002-03: Set the program record of 46 wins in a season along with a program-best 18-game win streak. Captured the fall 2002 EPCC and PCAA championships. Shevchik named PCAA state Coach of the Year ... Six players received NJCAA All-Region XIX honors.
2002: Set the then-program record of 42Â wins in a season, capturing the Eastern Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference title on the way to a Region XIX runner-up finish. Shevchik was named EPCC Coach of the Year ... Five players earned NJCAA All-Region XIX First/Second Team honors in addition to six being named to the EPCC All-Star Team.
Shevchik joined the Keystone baseball coaching staff in Jan. 1998 as an assistant. He has also worked as an area scout for the New York Yankees in addition to managing the Danbury Westerners of the New England Collegiate Baseball League and Brewster Whitecaps of the Cape Cod Baseball League.
In 2007, Shevchik earned a bachelor's in sport recreation and management from Keystone College and was also awarded the 2016 Keystone Professional Staff Award for Excellence.
In early 2021, Shevchik was promoted to 'assistant athletics director.'Â
