Graham Johnsen joined the Keystone College football program in 2025. Tasked with coordinating the run game while coaching the offensive line, Coach Johnsen will also serve as recruiting coordinator.
A native of Geneseo, NY, Johnsen earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Southern Mississippi where he was a member of the Golden Eagles football team that won 2 Conference USA championships and finished the 1997 season with a 41-7 victory over Pittsburgh in the Liberty Bowl and a final rank of 19 in the AP/USA Today Poll. Â He was a 2-time All-Conference USA academic selection.
Coach Johnsen has worked at every level of college football including two seasons as a graduate assistant at the University of Tennessee under Coach Phillip Fulmer. During his time at Tennessee, Johnsen was a member of a coaching staff that produced two AP/USA Today top 25 teams that played in the Fiesta and Cotton Bowls.
Coach Johnsen has coached on the staffs of five Division 1 programs (Tennessee, Saint Francis, Fairfield, Central Connecticut, and Nicholls State). Johnsen has also coached at (Alfred State, Mansfield, MGCCC, St. John Fisher, Saint Lawrence, and Wittenberg)
During his career, he has produced six All-Americans, two ESPN Academic All-Americans, one National Football Hall of Fame inductee, one Draddy Academic Award Finalist, over 100 all-conference selections, and numerous NFL & CFL players.Â
Coach Johnsen has served in various capacities over his career, Head Coach, Special Teams Coordinator, and Offensive Coordinator. Over the years, his units have led national & conference ranks year in and year out. Throughout his career, Coach Johnsen has had 50+ units/players ranked in the top 25 in NCAA year end statistical categories.
Coach Johnsen has served as the vice-president of the National Football Foundation/Twin Tiers Chapter. The AFCA member is active in the community assisting various organizations, serving local municipality committees, and volunteering or donating to charitable endeavors. Coach Johnsen and his wife Suzanne have four children.
