La Plume, PA – Four Keystone College fall sports teams are set to participate in the Colonial States Athletic Conference playoffs this week following a strong regular season showing for the Giants. The women's soccer and volleyball teams will be making their CSAC playoff debuts, the men's soccer team will make its fourth postseason appearance in the last six years, and the field hockey squad has earned its first playoff bid since 2012.
Women's Soccer at Marywood University – Monday, November 2 – 7:00 p.m. The women's soccer team will be making their first-ever appearance in the CSAC playoffs on Monday night when they make the short trip to Marywood University for a first round playoff game starting at 7:00 p.m. The Giants (7-8-1, 7-4 CSAC) enter this year's tournament at the #5 seed, clinching a playoff berth with a thrilling, 4-3 overtime win over Cairn University. The Pacers are the #4 seed after posting an 8-6-4 record this fall with a 7-2-3 mark in conference play. The Pacers won the regular season meeting between the two sides, 7-0, on October 24 at Marywood.
Jenna Moranski (Gardiner, NY/New Paltz) leads Keystone with 20 points this fall on six goals and a team-leading eight assists while
Nisa Cortes (Schenectady, NY/Schenectady) paces the Giants with eight goals on the year for 16 points.
Cassie Ehrhart (Stamford, NY/Stamford Central) has contributed eight points on two goals and four helpers while
Nina Carbonaro (Middlesex, NJ/Middlesex) has added seven points on three goals and one assist.
Sarah Heintz (Glenside, PA/Abington) has started 14 games in goal with five wins and two shutouts to her name and has a 2.92 goals-against average.
Katelyn Coon (Selden, NY/St. John the Baptist ) has appeared in five games in net with a 2-0 record in a pair of starts and a 3.47 goals-against average. Both Heintz and Coon have an identical, .730 save percentage.
Megan Swiecicki leads Marywood with 25 points on 11 goals and three assists while Julie Youngman has 18 points on six goals and six helpers. Amanda Allikmaa (13 points) and Ashley Kruchinsky (12 points) also have reached double-figure points for the Pacers. Aly Moyer has been Marywood's primary goalkeeper, starting 15 games and posting a 7-5-3 record with five shutouts, a 1.86 goals-against average and a .701 save percentage.
Monday's winner will advance to the semifinal round with game's being hosted by #1 Cabrini College and #2 Gwynedd Mercy University.
Live Stats Volleyball vs. Notre Dame of Maryland University – Tuesday, November 3 – 7:00 p.m. The volleyball team will also be making their CSAC playoff debut on Tuesday evening when they host Notre Dame of Maryland University in a first round matchup starting at 7:00 p.m. in the Gambal Athletic Center in La Plume. The Giants earned the #3 seed in this fall's conference playoffs after posting a 20-6 overall record including a 9-2 mark in CSAC matches. The Gators enter Tuesday night's tilt with a 15-9 overall record and are the #6 seed after posting a 7-4 mark in conference play. Keystone won the regular season meeting between the two sides on October 10 at Notre Dame of Maryland in four sets. After dropping the opening set 25-21, the Giants rattled off wins of 25-23, 25-20, and 25-13 to take the victory.
Hannah Zuchowski (Wellsboro, PA/Wellsboro Area) powers Keystone's attack with 305 kills on the season,
Kristen Larkin (Williamstown, NJ/Williamstown) has 191 kills, and
Ashley Williams (Virginia Beach, VA/Green Run) has 119 kills this fall.
Carol Mosier (Hunlock Creek, PA/Lake-Lehman) paces the Giants with 413 assists while
Sydney Binkley (Toms River, NJ/Toms River North) handed out 331 helpers during the regular season. Williams leads the squad with 57 aces while Zuchowski and Binkley have served up 51 aces apiece.
Pamela Heitman (Cortlandt Manor, NY/Walter Panas) paces Keystone with 390 digs and Zuchowski has picked up 224 digs. Williams also leads the Giants with 36 total blocks while
Shatia Silas (Belleville, NJ/Belleville) has posted 32 blocks this year.
Ashley Pasker leads Notre Dame of Maryland with 240 kills on the season, Grace Park has 117 kills, and Cassidy Keller has 102 kills. Jamie Reyes paces the Gators with 509 assists while Cleaya Antes leads the squad with 436 digs and 70 aces. Brooke Bowman recorded a team-high 43 blocks during the regular season while Pasker and Reyes chipped in with 17 blocks apiece.
Tuesday's winner will advance to Thursday's semifinal round with matches being hosted by #1 Cabrini College and #2 Neumann University.
Live Stats Men's Soccer at Immaculata University – Tuesday, November 3 – 7:30 p.m. The men's soccer team will be making their fourth CSAC playoff appearance in the last six years on Tuesday evening when they travel to Immaculata University for a first round game starting at 7:30 p.m. Keystone (7-8-1, 4-5 CSAC) secured the #6 seed in this fall's postseason tournament on Saturday afternoon, defeating regionally-ranked Cabrini College 3-2 and getting wins from Immaculata (2-1 over Cairn University) and Summit University (4-1 over Gwynedd Mercy University). The Mighty Macs (8-10, 6-3 CSAC), who defeated Keystone 3-0 at Immaculata on October 10, are the #3 seed this postseason.
Eddy Enowbi (Silver Spring, MD/Springbrook) paces Keystone's offense with 22 points on a team-leading nine goals to go along with four assists while
Abreham Kittel (Trumansburg, NY/Charles O. Dickerson) has posted 10 points this fall on two goals and a team-best six assists.
Ofentse Kale (Derwood, MD/Magruder) and
Kouassi Kouadio (Mount Pocono, PA/Pocono Mountain East) have chipped in with five points on two goals and one assist each during the regular season.
Adam Zbiciak (Saint Johns, MI/St. Johns) has seen the bulk of playing time in Keystone's net this year, starting 15 games and posting a 6-8-1 record. The sophomore goalkeeper sports a 1.51 goals-against average and a .783 save percentage on the season with one shutout.
Alex Noel lead Immaculata with nine goals and 18 points while Kyle Jumalon has posted 17 points on eight goals and one assist this fall. Stephen Smith (3 goals) and Alec Schuler (2 goals, 2 assists) have contributed six points apiece for the Mighty Macs. Joe Lubonski had seen the majority of playing time in Immaculata's goal this season, posting an 8-10 record in 18 starts with four shutouts, a 1.43 goals-against average, and an .802 save percentage.

The Griffins are the defending CSAC champions and are this fall's #1 seed after finishing the regular season with a 12-5 overall record including a perfect 7-0 mark in conference play. The Griffins used a five-goal second half to pull away with a 5-0 win over Keystone in the regular season meeting between the two squads on October 24 at Gwynedd Mercy.
Genesis Pacheco (Mount Pocono, PA/Pocono Mountain East) leads five Keystone players with double-digit points this year with 21 points on seven goals and a team-high seven assists.
Rebecca Dempster (Boonton, NJ/Boonton) is tied for the team-lead in goals with seven and has also contributed four assists for 18 points while
Breanna Paulson (Mountain Top, PA/Crestwood) had 13 points on five goals and three helpers.
Allison Berman (Wilkes-Barre, PA/E.L. Meyers) has posted 12 points on four goals and four assists while
Shelby Croasdale (Nicholson, PA/Lackawanna Trail) has 11 points on four goals and three assists.
Amy Denmon (Beaumont, PA/Lake-Lehman) has played every minute of every game this fall in Keystone's cage and has made 202 saves to sport a .795 save percentage to go along with a 3.41 goals-against average while recording four shutouts on the season.
Adrienne Mellot (Boiling Springs, PA/Boiling Springs) (19) and
Justine Firmstone (Honesdale, PA/Honesdale) (13) rank first and second in the CSAC in defensive saves this season.
Melissa Russo powers Gwynedd Mercy's offense with 46 points on 21 goals and four assists while Katie O'Neill has 34 points on nine goals and a team-best 16 assists. Brianna O'Connell and Stephanie Bacho have 27 points apiece while Abigail Gabriel (19) and Megan Senkeleski (15) also reached double-digits in points during the regular season. Samantha Soscia has posted a 12-5 record after starting all 17 games in goal for the Griffins while collecting six solo shutouts, a 1.84 goals-against average, and a .722 save percentage.
Wednesday's winner will advance to Saturday's CSAC Championship game which will be played at the site of the highest remaining seed with an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament on the line.
