Cresson, Pa. – Mount Aloysius College scored a goal in the 18
th minute of Saturday afternoon's defeated non-conference women's soccer game against Keystone College and tacked on two more in the second half on its way to a 3-0 victory. The Mounties climb to 3-2 on the season with win while Giants slip to 1-2 on the year.
Mount Aloysius opened the scoring with 17:50 elapsed in Saturday's contest when Olivia Woodley ran onto a thru-ball from Cheyenne Kuncher and finished off the chance to give the hosts a 1-0 lead.
The Mounties held the one-goal advantage at halftime after outshooting Keystone 7-3 in the opening 45 minutes of play.
Mount Aloysius doubled its lead in the 60
th minute when Amanda Brancato picked up a loose ball in the Giants' penalty area before capping the scoring in the 84
th minute Sam Torrenti took a quick pass from Woodley and slotted home a shot to give the Mounties the three-goal lead.
The hosts finished the game with a 17-6 advantage in shots and an 8-3 edge in shots on goal. Mount Aloysius also earned nine corner kick chances to zero for Keystone.

Sarah Heintz (Glenside, Pa./Abington) was credited with five stops.
Jenna Moranski (Gardiner, N.Y./New Paltz) and
Rebecca Lewis (Abingdon, Md./Aberdeen) led the visitors with a pair of shots each in the loss.
Keystone will be back on the pitch on Wednesday evening with a non-conference game against Alfred State College starting at 6:30 p.m. on the turf field in La Plume.
