The Keystone College women's lacrosse team faces its biggest challenge of the season when it takes on six-time defending Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) champion Cabrini University in Radnor, Pennsylvania, this afternoon at 4:00 p.m.
Â
In addition to winning the last six CSAC titles, the Cavaliers own 16 overall titles dating back to 1993 when the league was previously known as the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference. The Cavaliers come into Edith Robb Dixon Field today with a 2-4 overall record, but they are once again tied for the top spot in the CSAC, having defeated Centenary University, 17-2, in the conference opener last Friday.
Â
Keystone will look to rebound from a 20-7 loss at Immaculata in its conference opener last Saturday. Overall, the Giants are 1-2 on the season, with its only other loss a nail-biting 16-15 loss in overtime at Delaware Valley on February 24.
Â
Following today's game, Keystone will host Neumann University in its home opener on Wednesday, March 28, in CSAC action beginning at 4:00 p.m. at the Giants' Turf Field complex.
