ALFRED, N.Y. - The Keystone College wrestling team had their first dual meet action of the season, traveling to Alfred State for a tri-meet with the host Pioneers & SUNY Ulster.

Freshman Brendan Hamilton (Lennhartsville, Pa./Hamburg Area) had the most wins on the day, going 3-0 at 184 pounds with an exhibition victory as well as his two dual wins.

Junior Colby Bronzburg (Bloomsburg, Pa./Bloomsburg) & freshman James Geiger (Dallas, Pa./Dallas) also went undefeated at 2-0 each.

As a team, both of the duals came down to the final match at heavyweight to decide the victor. Against Ulster, the score was tied at 24-24 going into heavyweight before losing a heartbreaker to lose 30-24.

Against Alfred State, the match was 27-21 going into the decider heavyweight bout which was lost by fall.

Keystone has their home opener this upcoming Friday, Nov. 22 at 7 p.m. against SUNY Sullivan.
