Savanna Robinson (Wilkes-Barre, Pa./Coughlin) notched her 100
th career goal and senior
Alex Smith (Wilkes-Barre, Pa./Coughlin) tallied her 100
th career point as the Keystone College women's lacrosse team defeated visiting Centenary University (N.J.) 17-2 in CSAC action on Tuesday afternoon.
With the win, the Giants improve to 9-3 (8-0 CSAC) and will head to Notre Dame of Maryland on Saturday, April 20. The Cyclones drop to 0-9 (0-7 CSAC).
Smith and Robinson both finished with five points each (4G, 1 A) while junior
April Llewellyn (Plains, Pa./Coughlin) also notched five points on four goals and one assist while notching six ground balls and seven caused turnovers. Robinson led the Giants with 11 shots.
Senior
Kayla Bain (Lancaster, Pa./J.P. McCaskey) provided two scores and one assist while senior
Nisa Cortes (Schenectady, NY/Schenectady), junior
Megan Novak (Wilkes-Barre, Pa./Coughlin) and sophomore
Riley Hayes (Alexandria, Va./Edison) all tallied one goal each.
Sophomore
Alex Williams (Elkton, Md./The Tome School) dished out one assist.
Cortes finished with seven ground balls and seven caused turnovers while Bain finished with six draw controls.
In goal, sophomore
Kali Kishter (Alexandria, Va./Mt. Vernon) earned the win and made three saves.
The Giants outshot the Cyclones 45-6 and forced 36 turnovers while limiting Centenary to 3-of-17 on clear attempts.
