La PLUME, Pa. – After a three-week layoff, the Keystone women's basketball team returned to the court for its first action of 2022 but were gashed by the Gators of Notre Dame Maryland, 77-56, in Colonial State Athletic Conference play at the Gambal Athletic Center.
After a close first quarter in Thursday night's game, NDMU splashed five of its 10-total 3-pointers to go along with a 50-percent shooting period to make it an uphill battle the rest of the way for the Giants.
Keystone matched the Gators point for point in the second half, but it was too late as Notre Dame of Maryland took the victory and improved to 6-4 in the CSAC (6-8 overall).
It was a rematch of a Nov. 27 contest that saw Keystone pull out a last-second come-back victory on the road to start conference play.
The Giants dropped to 4-2 in conference and 6-5 overall.
