Field Hockey Falls at Susquehanna 3-0

Morley made two defensive stops against the River Hawks.

SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Angelina Morley (Deposit, N.Y./Deposit) tallied two defensive saves for the Keystone College field hockey team in Wednesday's 3-0 defeat at Susquehanna University – the final non-conference contest of the season.

Morley now has a team-high and CSAC-leading 10 defensive saves on the year, which ranks fifth-most in single-season program history. Morley currently is tied for second in all of Division III with Madison Ranalli of Utica.

The Giants are now 7-7 overall and will head to Chambersburg on Saturday, Oct. 22 for a 1 p.m. league match against Wilson College. Keystone is 3-0 CSAC while the Phoenix are 2-0 CSAC.

The River Hawks (13-3) scored one first-half goal and tallied two third-quarter goals. Annalee Smith caged her 11th and 12th goals of the season.

Jordan Vandermark (Hackettstown, N.J./Hackettstown) paced the KC attack with two shots on goal while Maria Tomada (Buenos Aires, Argentina/San Vicente de Paul) and Julianna Santiago (Allentown, Pa./Louis E. Dieruff) each had one shot.

Hannah Osbahr (Old Bridge, N.J./Old Bridge) made six saves in the defeat. SU outshot Keystone 14-3 and held a 17-8 mark in penalty corner chances.
