Keystone College names Dr. Adrienne Mellott Chief Retention Officer

Keystone College has named Adrienne Mellott, Ed.D. as its new chief retention officer.

La PLUME, Pa. - Keystone College has named Adrienne Mellott, Ed.D. as its new chief retention officer.

Dr. Mellott previously served as an assistant professor and sport and recreation management program director at Keystone and will continue to teach courses on a part-time basis through the spring semester.

Dr. Mellott brings leadership and advising experience to her new position. She served as the president of the Keystone College Alumni Association Board. She also served as Keystone's assistant director of admissions. Dr. Mellott received a bachelor's degree from Keystone in sport and recreation management and business, and a master's degree in sport leadership and management, also from Keystone. She received her doctorate in education from Maryville University, with a dissertation focusing on student retention.

Dr. Mellott played on the field hockey team from 2012-15 and finished her career with Keystone records for single-game, single-season, and career records for defensive saves along with the CSAC career defensive saves record. In 2015, she was the NCAA DIII statistical champion in defensive saves with 20. Mellott served as assistant coach from 2016-2020 with the field hockey and women's lacrosse programs.
