Keystone Baseball Voted No. 1 in 2022 CSAC Preseason Poll

The Giants earned 47 points with five first-place votes in the poll.

VILLANOVA, Pa. – Keystone College was picked to defend its baseball title as the Giants were the top pick in the 2022 Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) preseason coaches' poll released on Wednesday afternoon.

The Giants, who have won the last 12 titles, received 47 points and five first-place votes.

Wilson College, last year's runner-up, received 42 points and one first-place vote. Cairn University was third with 37 points and one first-place vote. Saint Elizabeth University was fourth with 26 points, followed by The University of Valley Forge in fifth with 16 points. Newcomer Rosemont College is in sixth with 15 points, while Clarks Summit University was seventh with 13 points.

The top four teams will battle for the CSAC title starting with the semifinal championship weekend scheduled for Friday-Saturday, May 6-7. The winners of that weekend will play a best-of-three series starting Friday, May 13-14 for the conference's automatic qualifier.
