Men's Lacrosse Overtaken by Pacers

Keystone taken down by nearby Marywood, 25-1.

La PLUME, Pa. – Izaiah Simon (Tunkhannock, Pa./Tunkhannock Area) netted the lone goal for the Giants as the Keystone men's lacrosse team was defeated by Marywood, 25-1, Wednesday evening in non-conference play at the Turf Field Athletic Complex.

On a clear attempt, A.J. Hackenberg's (Greenfield Twp., Pa./Lakeland) 20-yard pass found Simon downfield where he raced and fired from 15 yards out for the goal at the 9:18 mark of the final quarter. It was Simon's only shot of the evening and one of four — three on goal — the Giants took all throughout the contest.

The Pacers got on the scoreboard just under two minutes into the game then quickly scored seconds later on the ensuing face-off as Marywood never looked back and rolled to its seventh win of the season.
