Men's Lax Falls at Rosemont

The Giants had three different goal scorers on Wednesday.

ROSEMONT, Pa. - The Keystone College men's lacrosse team fell at Rosemont College 23-3 in CSAC action on Wednesday afternoon.

With the defeat, the Giants fall to 0-6 (0-3 CSAC) and will return home to host Purchase College (4-5) on Friday, April 15 at 1 p.m. for Senior Day. The Ravens improve to 7-7 (2-1 CSAC) and travel to Stockton University (7-2, 1-0 CSAC) on Saturday, April 16 at 7 p.m.

Noel Gonzalez (Westminster, Colo./Westminster), Izaiah Simon (Tunkhannock, Pa./Tunkhannock Area), and A.J. Hackenberg (Greenfield Twp., Pa./Lakeland) tallied goals for the Giants. Simon's goal in the fourth was a man-up score assisted by Tyler McManus (East Meadow, N.Y./East Meadow).

Simon won 11 faceoffs against the Ravens. Keystone fired off 13 shots as Hackenberg, Simon, and Angel Rodriguez (Islip, N.Y./Islip) combined for nine.

Gabe Reyes (Rockville, Md./Rockville) tallied four caused turnovers and four ground balls. The senior now has 60 caused turnovers in his career, extending his program record.

Noe Euceda Rodriguez (Silver Spring, Md./Springbrook) made eight saves in goal in his first action with the team.

For Rosemont, Liam O'Connor tallied nine points (6G, 3A) while Brandon Krausse, Mason Dennis, and Navarro Blakes notched hat tricks.

Rosemont led 13-0 after the first quarter and 16-1 at halftime. The Giants tallied two fourth-quarter scores.
