TOWSON, Md.- The Landmark Conference has announced the football all-conference selections and major awards for the 2023 season.
In the inaugural season of the Landmark, Keystone had seven players named All-Landmark Conference.
Damir Green (Philadelphia, Pa./Imhotep) led Keystone as a second team all-conference recipient at the running back position. Green rushed for 589 yards with six touchdowns in his final season as a Giant.
Tyler Malanga (Monroe, N.J./Monroe Twp.) also received second team honors for Keystone. Malanga was stud on the defensive line as he recorded 36 total tackles and 2.5 sacks.
The rest of the Keystone all-conference selections were named Honorable Mention as Jayson Nami (Freehold Township, N.J./Freehold Township) (wide receiver & kick returner), Reese Karp (Pen Argyl, Pa./Pen Argyl) (tight end), John Balchunas (Palmyra, Pa./Palmyra Area) (offensive line), , Quentin Tibbs (New Brunswick, N.J./New Brunswick) (linebacker), and Zac Cost (Dalton, Pa./Lackawanna Trail) (punter) picked up end of the season honors.
Nami led Keystone's receiving core with 521 yards and four touchdowns. On the special team's side, he had 43 returns for 821 yards. Karp earned his second straight all-conference accolade as the junior tight end recorded 105 receiving yards with one touchdown. Balchunas was a monster on the offensive line. The sophomore left tackle led played in 628 total snaps which is the most from any offensive linemen on the team.
Tibbs enjoyed a stellar year as he made a team high 63 total tackles this season to go along with five tackles for loss, four pass break ups, and two fumble recoveries.
Cost was a stud for special teams in 2023. To conclude his collegiate football career, Cost punted 48 times for 1873 yards. He averaged 39 yards a punt with 16 of his punts landing inside the opponents 20-yard line. He was named Landmark Conference Specialist of the Week twice this season.
