LA PLUME, Pa.- The Keystone College women's lacrosse team were shutout by Marywood University 18-0 Tuesday afternoon at home in nonconference action. Keystone drops to 0-4 while Marywood improves to 5-3.
Hannah Osbahr (Old Bridge, N.J./Old Bridge) made six saves in goal for the Giants. Maria Tomada (Buenos Aires, Argentina/San Vicente de Paul) recorded six ground ballw and two draw controls. Miranda Mascia (Blakeslee, Pa./Pocono Mountain West) also had two draw controls on the day.
For the visiting Pacers, Emma Solomon and Kayla McCabe both scored six goals. Solomon finished with two assists, five groundballs, and four causes turnovers while McCabe dished out four assists and had seven ground balls. Olivia Stollsteimer tallied a hat trick with two assists and one caused turnover. Kortney Harry, Lauren Mattarazzo, and Avery Meighan chipped in with a goal.
The Pacers held a 30-7 margin on shots and concluded the contest with a 32-15 advantage on ground balls. The Giants had a 50 percent success rate on clear attempts.
Keystone will remain home as they host Centenary University on Friday, Mar. 24 at 6 p.m. Marywood will be at Misericordia on Thursday Mar. 23 at 6 p.m.
