LA PLUME, Pa.- The Keystone College men's lacrosse team dropped their first game of the 2023 campaign by a score of 18-5 against SUNY Delhi Thursday evening.
Keystone drops to 0-1 to start the year while SUNY Delhi picked up their first win of the season and move to 1-4.
Ryan Smith (Warrington, Pa./Central Bucks South) scored a hat trick in his first collegiate game as well picking up seven ground balls. Anthony Hott (Warminster, Pa./William Tennet) contributed with two goals. AJ Hackenberg (Greenfield Twp., Pa./Lakeland), Gage Foley (Lacombe, Alberta, Canada/Lacombe Composite), and Izaiah Simon (Tunkhannock, Pa./Tunkhannock Area) all had one assist on the night.
For the Broncos, Sam Bieber led Delhi with a game high four goals while Brandon McGrath notched a hat trick and dished out two assists.
Keystone was outshot 40-19 in the contest. They had a 58 percent success rate on faceoffs.
The Giants will host Albertus Magnus College on Saturday, Mar.11 at 1 p.m. The Broncos will face SUNY Canton on Mar 18 at 1 p.m.
